This block is planted with 8,888 vines (composed of 7 different clones) and is the eighth block established at Bindi. It includes a section of “Crazyâ€?22,600 vines per hectare experimental section, truly pushing the limits of extreme viticulture. Fruit is fermented in open vats and matured in French oak barrels of which 50% are new for a period of 15-17 months.The 2020 Block 8 carries its hallmark darker fruit profile, lifted by red cherry fragrance and layered notes of spice, earth, and game. Expect a creamy, supple palate with smooth fruit–tannin integration that builds through the mid-palate before fanning out into a long finish.
