The family can trace its roots back to 1645, but it was not until the two sons, Claude and Herve took over the domaine from Lucien in 1995 that it began bottling at the estate rather than selling to négociants.Fruit is sourced from parcels in Maranges and in Santenay, plus a one hectare parcel in the Hautes Côtes with ageing taking place in tank (30%) and the balance in barrel (of which 15% is new).Bright red to dark red colour with black toned edges and a vibrant red hue. Perfumed violet like aromas are followed by red cherry, red raspberry, fresh herb, forest floor and spice notes. Light and energetic, delicious red cherry and strawberry fruits drive the palate over an earthy provincial herb back drop. Fresh acidity and fine grained tannins.
