The significant proportion of Pinot coming from the chalky soils of Tauxières showcases the charm of this unique terroir : tension, precision and complexity. rrWeather: The 2020 growing season was characterized by an early budburst in April, followed by a hot and dry summer. These conditions led to one of the earliest harvests on record, commencing in mid-August—approximately two weeks ahead of the decade’s average . Despite the accelerated timeline, the grapes achieved full phenolic ripeness, resulting in fruit that was both ripe and balanced.
