There are 24 Premiers Crus and 2 Grands Crus. It is a very well know commune despite its small size.rrVineyard: The vineyards of Chambolle-Musigny are unique in the Côte de Nuits for the chalky composition of its soils just over a hard rocky bedrock which stresses the vines. Les Fuées is situated just near the Bonnes Mares Grand Cru vineyard. There are a lot of hard stones in the vineyard that has an East exposure.rrVinification: Destemmed grapes ferment in vats during 3 to 4 weeks. Aging takes place in oak barrels produced by the CADUS cooperage during 18 months.rrWeather: 2015 began with a cool, wet winter, causing slightly late budbreak, but a warm, dry spring and very hot June rapidly sped up vine growth. After some mid-summer heat and drought stress, late July and August rain helped ripening.
