A great example of what Pinotage can offer when the fruit is top of the bill and subtle oak lending a hand with plum fruit and a mellow Mediterranean-like spicy feel giving the wine a fine tannin structure aging potential.The grapes were harvested from two blocks from Stellenbosch and 40 year-old bush vine vineyards from the Durbanville region. Fifty percent of the wine was fermented in open epoxy cement tanks and fifty percent was fermented in closed stainless steel tanks.
