The Maury wines from Domaine Pouderoux come from vines situated in the heart of the commune of Maury.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ePaul Pouderoux, the grandfather, was born in 1909. He was a pioneer of Maury and a tireless defender of the legislation for A.O.C. Robert, his grandson and present owner of the Domain, is carrying on the tradition with a growing program close to nature, respecting the soil, biological diversity and the ecosystem.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMaury are powerful wines which lend themselves to a long oxidative maturing process. But when they are young, with their black and red fruit balance, the delicacy of the tannins and the aromatic fragance, they are a real revelation. One grape variety is identified with Maury: the Grenache noir, capricious, low yield, it guarantees the quality of Maury and it represents 100% of Pouderoux’s vines.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe grapes are selected and sorted in the vineyard. They are picked by hand, de-stemmed, fermented (with skins), macerating for 30 days. Pressing is with a pneumatic press – in manual mode. The juices are separated and then blended. The unfiltered and non-clarified wine is bottled in June following the harvest and is allowed to mature slowly.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAnd the result?
