On the palate: It has a medium to full-bodied palate which, as with many great Tuscan wines, opens and softens in the glass. It’s ripe, and well-balanced with moderate alcohol and acidity, plus fairly firm tannins. A well-balanced, ripe, flavoursome wine with a long finish, and plenty of complexity from fruit, savoury and spice notes.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFOOD PAIRING, STORING AND SERVICE: This is a hearty and versatile wine that would perfectly accompany simpler fare such as a pizza or a red sauce pasta.
