In the UK this wine has to be called Dead Ringer due to action taken by Chateau Angelus over use of the name.This wine is aromatic with berry and tobacco leaf notes infused with oaky briary aromas and on the palate has Layered concentrated blackberries, spice and oaky flavours that will age gracefully for two decades. It is matured as individual vineyard parcels in French oak barriques of which 20% are new. After pressing the grapes are transferred directly to new and seasoned French oak barrels where it completes malolactic fermentation and after 14 months of oak maturation it is blended and left for a further three months.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eThe producer â€?\/h2\u0026gt;\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eGregg Trott, the original owner had a philosophy was ‘Never give misery an even break, nor bad wine a second sip.
