Sans A Classic Barossa Valley Red with a distinctive Penfolds stamp. Opaque crimson colour. The nose displays aromas of spice and ripe plum with a slightly earthy back note. The palate is generous, filled with ripe Barossa fruit. Excellent length with plum, spice and chocolate flavours at the beginning and then being extended by very long black pepper flavours that linger well into the aftertaste. Excellent balance and fine grained tannin structure. Cellar 5-10 years.
