Sans A light much leaner style than the ‘fruit bomb’ wines of Australia. Medium body, crimson mauve colour. Aroma of confectionery, toasted oak, cedar, violets and blackcurrant, with just a hint of leaf emerging as a final note. The palate is very dry, with stewed fruit and blackcurrant flavours dominant – the tannins are very dry, and slightly furry, which persist long into the aftertaste. Cellar 3-4 years.
