Sans Outstanding every day drinking!Medium body, deep crimson mauve edges.The nose is a little restrained and does not reflect what is to follow.Aromas of confectionary and vanilla with spicy plum, background notes and just a trace of earthiness.The palate overcomes any shortfall of the nose.Excellent weight and mouthfeel with flavours of ripe plum and liquorice followed by chocolate and spice with some toasted oak end palate flavours.Perfect balance followed by long spice, plum and blackpepper aftertaste. Cellar 3-4 years.
