Sans The St Marys Vineyard is located approximately 15km West of Coonawarra. Spectacular crimson purple mauve colour which has a remarkable glass cling. The nose reveals aromas of spice, vanilla, earth, leather, blackcurrants and a distinct peppery end note.The palate is very youthful, reflecting the outstanding vintage conditions. The tight knit palate structure makes this wine a touch difficult to fully appreciate at this stage. The wine simply needs 8-10 years cellaring to evolve.Fine dry tannin structure, followed by an earthy plum and leather aftertaste.
