Sans Another excellent red from Tim Adams, but without the same solid structure that is present in the 1998 Cabernet.The wine was fermented on skins for 7 days, and then basket pressed, with all the pressings going back to the base wine.Magnificent, crimson purple colour.Rich, ripe blackberry, plum, mulberry and spice aroma.Excellent weight with liquorice, plum, spice and mulberry flavours present on the palate.Fine grained, soft tannins, making the wine quite approachable now, followed by a long blackberry, spice and plum after taste.Cellar 8-10 years.
