Sans The nose on this wine is very appealing. Medium bodied, crimson �brick red colour. Perfumed nose of confectionary, violets, raspberry, blackcurrants and spice. The palate is lighter than the straight Cabernet and the Shiraz but is nonetheless very attractive. Flavours of cedar, raspberry and ripe blackcurrants with just a faint trace of leafiness. An excessive leafy character has marred the style in the past, but is well contained in this wine. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance with very long aftertaste.
