Sans Sparky and Sarah Marquis were the winemakers behind Fox Creek, today they run their own show as consultant winemakers, and we must say doing an excellent job. The fruit for the Henry’s Drive Shiraz comes from the Longbottom Family vineyard in Padthaway, and the wine is made for the family by Sparky and Sarah.Magnificent colour. Opaque crimson purple. Intense nose of blackberries, liquorice and spice with distinct blackpepper end notes. Mouthfilling palate flavours of blackpepper, ripe plum, vanilla and liquorice. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance followed by a very long aftertaste of spice, blackberry and liquorice. Cellar 4-5 years.
