Sans Quite a surprise from Paul Conti, particularly producing a Pinot of this quality. Deep crimson colour, very impressive for the varietal. The nose is impressive, with lifted aromas of toasted oak, spice strawberry and a cherry end note. Again on the palate, the Pinot flavours emerge with an excellent juxtaposition of toasted oak, cherry and strawberry followed by a hint of game on the back palate. Excellent mouthfeel, fine grained tannins, with long cherry strawberry aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years.
