Sans Wayne Thomas has produced a series of very consistent full bodied reds, yet does not seem to enjoy a high consumer profile â€?we’ll see if we can change that! Almost opaque, deep crimson colour.Aroma of spice, coconut, vanilla, confectionery and chocolate.The palate shows excellent weight and depth of flavours â€?a factor missing is many of the 1999 reds.Inky blackpepper palate flavour with an abundant amount of ripe plum and liquorice flavour.Fine grained, dry, lingering tannins, followed by a long inky blackberry aftertaste.Cellar 5-8 years.
