Sans The Cabernet Franc adds elegance and finesse to this wine. Very deep crimson colour, with mauve hue. The wine is slightly less dense than the Georgia’s Paddock, but makes up for body weight, with a superb nose. Perfumed nose of cedar, marzipan, violets, blueberry and plum. On the palate the plum and spice flavours are dominant and supported by quite dry tannins. The black pepper flavours are slow to evolve, and appear in a much more subtle form. Outstanding length, perfect balance in spite of the tannins being a touch firm. Very long aftertaste of plum and black pepper with lingering dry tannins persisting. Cellar 4-5 years (2006-2007) Alc/Vol 13.5%
