Sans Fred and Katrina Pizzini’s Italian Heritage has ensured that Italian varietals have been planted on their Lana Trento vineyard in the King Valley.This is a delightful Verduzzo, and an excellent food wine.Brightstraw colour.The nose has a range of notes that at first suggests that this wine might be a touch broad, but thatis not the case.Aroma of tropical fruit, spice, peach, melon and ripe pears.The palate displays intense, mouthfilling flavours of ripe peaches and ripe pears over a very spicy background.The acidity provides a very crisp acid backbone without any hint of coarseness evident.Exceptionally long aftertaste of pear, ripe cantaloupe and spice.
