Sans MARSHAL CAFFYN and JOAN PITTENDRIGH established their boutique Pinot Noir vineyard in 1989, on 4 acres of well drained, steep red volcanic soil made up of basaltic lava deposited millions of years ago. A variety of clones were selected including MV6, P5V12, 114 & 115. The 2001 vintage produced fruit with exceptional concentration of flavour.
