Sans Bright brick red colour with crimson hue.The nose has a distinct stalky top note which is followed through to the rest of the wine and is followed by notes of spice, troncais oak, dark cherry, anise and finally a hint of California Poppy.Mouthfilling palate flavours with dark cherry, spice and troncais oak persisting over a stalky background.Fine greyish tannins, but balanced, followed by a very long spicy stalk and oak aftertaste.Cellar 2-3 years (2005-2006)Alc/Vol: 13.5%
