Unfortunately for d’Arenberg, this wine does not live up to the aspirations of the ‘Garagisteâ€?movement. Opaque black crimson colour with deep crimson hue. The nose reveals a touch of mint, tea leaf, cedar and plum. The palate is relatively short, with tea leaf and mint flavours. Hard dry tannins linger into the aftertaste, with tea leaf characteristics persisting. Cellar 1-2 years (2005-2006) Alc/Vol: 14.5%
