Sans Made from a blend of 51% Pinot Noir, 28% Chardonnay and 21% Pinot Meunier this Champagne pours with a good white creamy mousse which once dissipated reveals a salmon pink base wine colour. Exceptionally fine bead showing excellent persistence. Nosing offers up winter strawberry top notes over toast, delicate yeast lees and brioche. On the palate winter strawberry flavours are to the fore followed by some toasty characters, yeast lees and subtle brioche. Clean crisp dry finish with aftertaste of winter strawberry, toast, yeast lees and almonds.
