Sans The Lily Grace Chardonnay is the first release from the new 1998 plantings.The wine is named after the Friend’s first grandchild Lily Grace.Bright straw colour with a hint of gold.Superb nose of cashew, biscuit, hazelnut, yeast lees and spicy oak.The palate has a creamy texture overlaid with toasted oak, almond and biscuit flavours.Excellent depth with very long aftertaste of toasted oak, yeast lees and almonds.Cellar 2-3 years (2005-2006)Alc/Vol: 13.5%
