There is a reluctant top note of dark cherry and spice followed by a hint of violet. On the palate some dark cherry and spice flavours emerge. The flavour profile just does not match the varietal characteristics of Pinot. White pepper and spice flavours emerge, again more Shiraz like than Pinot. Fine grained tannins.
