Sans Leigh Gilligan and his family have produced another excellent Rhone style blend which has strong varietal character.Bright crimson colour with crimson mauve hue.Medium body.The nose has a very distinct raspberry top note, followed by spice, liquorice and a hint of violets.The palate is generous, with mouthfilling flavours, again the Grenache component seems to dominate with ripe raspberry, spice and liquorice flavours.Excellent length, fine grained tannins, followed by aftertaste of spice, raspberry, blackberry and liquorice. Cellar 3-4 years (2008-2009)Alc/Vol: 15.0%
