Sans This full bodied red is made from a blend of 65% Cabernet and 35% Merlot. The wine was fermented in small open tank ferments and matured in new and older French casks. Totally opaque black crimson colour with deep crimson purple hue. The nose displays excellent ripe Cabernet fruit aroma. Lifted notes of violets, blackcurrant, mulberry, spice and cedar. The palate reflects the ripe fruit qualities of the nose with flavours of blackcurrant, spice and liquorice evident, followed by dry chalky tannins which continue to run into the aftertaste.Cellar 3-4 years (2008-2009)ALc/Vol: 13.5%
