Sans An impressive, spicy Sangiovese, but with more tannin structure than the 2003 and just a touch less fruit!Bright crimson mauve colour with mauve hue.The nose displays good varietal lift.Aroma of spice and cherry followed by a hint of liquorice allsorts.The palate is drier than the 2003, with flavours of cherry and spice emerging over a sour cherry, raspberry and white pepper background.The back palate remains very spicy.Aftertaste of cherry, spice, raspberry and liquorice.Cellar 2-3 years (2007-2008)Alc/Vol: 14.0%
