Sans Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of spice followed by violet, plum, liquorice allsorts and vanilla. On the palate, flavours of plum and vanilla are followed by liquorice allsorts and black pepper. Fine grained, dryish tannins which persist into the aftertaste. Well made, but lacking that special McLaren Vale joosy character. Cellar 3-4 years (2009-2010) Alc/Vol: 14.5%
