Sans 2005 was considered to be an outstanding vintage in the Barossa and winemaker/owner Grant Burge believes this is the best Filsell Shiraz they have ever produced. Sourced entirely from the Filsell vineyards 87 year old vines with yields around 1.5 tonnes per hectare, the wine was matured in new and two year old American and some French oak hogsheads for 20 months before bottling.
