Sans Heartland wines are sourced from the Angus Vineyard at Langhorne Creek and the Wirrega Vineyard on the Limestone Coast. Langhorne Creek enjoys a climatic phenomenon, referred to locally as the ‘Lake Doctor’. During the growing season cooling ocean breezes reduce the daytime temperatures, resulting in the production of opulent fruit flavours. The Wirrega Vineyard on the Limestone Coast shares many of the same characteristics as are evident in Coonawarra, which results in slow ripening of fruit, and again, maximum flavour profiles.
