Sans Opaque black dark red colour with dark brick red hue. Aromas of blackcurrant and stewed plum are prevalent over some liquorice, cedar and spice background notes. Full bodied the palate possesses very ripe blackcurrant and stewed plum flavours followed by some tobacco leaf, cedar and spice. It’s beginning to dry out a touch on the finish. Velvet smooth tannins. Medium to long blackcurrant, tobacco leaf, liquorice, cedar and spice aftertaste.Drink over the next 1-2 years.Alc 14.5%
