Sans The Leconfield vineyard was establishedin 1974 by Sydney Hamilton. Historically, great Cabernet has been grownhere, however, in recent years the quality has been variable. The 2005release sees a return to form and shows a generosity of flavour reflectiveof early, warmer vintages.

Opaque black crimson colour with black crimsonhue. Top note of dark chocolate, spice and blackcurrant, showing impressivevarietal character. Blackcurrant, cedar, truffle and spice palate flavours are supported by fine drypersistent tannins which remain balanced to the fruit. There is a hint of white pepper emerging. Aftertaste ofcedar, blackcurrant and spice.Cellar 3-4 years (2011-2012) Alc/Vol: 14.2%
