Sans The grapes for this outstanding wine were grown on a single vineyard at Macclesfield in South Australia. The colour is spectacular. A concentrate of black purple and mauve with black purple mauve hue, with outstanding cling to the glass. The nose is quite pronounced, smoky oak, liquorice allsorts, blackberry and vanilla aroma. Powerful and persistent palate with flavours of chocolate, spice, vanilla, blackberry and liquorice. Fine dryish tannins, but balanced. Very long aftertaste.
