Sans 60% of the fruit for this wine was fermentedin stainless steel whilst the balance of 40% was fermented in new oak. Post fermentation,the wine was matured in new oak for nine months. An excellent exampleof barrel matured Chardonnay. Bright straw colour with green tinge and palestraw hue. Top note of yeast lees, followed by biscuit, cashew and a hint of butterscotch.Creamy palate texture, with flavours of biscuit, cashew and hazelnut over a lightly toasted background.Clean dry finish. Aftertaste of biscuit and hazelnut. Cellar 2-3 years (2010-2011) Alc/Vol: 14%
