Sans The wine is the result of acollaboration between Robert Mondavi and Chile’s Eduardo Chadwick. The blend is a replica of what great Bordeauxwines might have been like prior to phylloxera. The blend consists of 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot,9% Carmenere, 6% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot. Very deep black crimson colour with black crimsonhue. Superb nose of violet and spice over a layer of blackcurrant, confectionary and cassis, followed by a touchof truffle and sherbet. Mouthfilling explosive palate. Flavours of confectionary, cassis and black pepper â€?refined and very powerful.Very fine tannins â€?very long aftertaste. Cellar 4-5 years (2012-2013) Alc/Vol: 14.5%
