Sans A big Barossa red – indeed as winemaker Bruno Tait describes it – a ball buster. Totally opaque black purple colour with black purple hue. Lifted nose of violets, chocolate, spice and vanilla. The palate has loads of big, ripe, joosy Barossa fruit flavours. Ripe plum, vanilla and liquorice flavours fill the palate. Velvet smooth, perfectly balanced tannins. Very long aftertaste of liquorice, plum and vanilla.Cellar 3-4 years (2009-2010)Alc/Vol: 15.5%
