Sans The Blue Eyed Boy is destined for a black eye as he evolves into a super heavy weight boxer.Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. The nose is a touch more restrained than the boxer, but make no mistake, this Blue Eyed Boy still carries plenty of clout at 16% Alc/Vol. Top note of liquorice, confectionary and spice. The palate has excellent weight, with flavours of spice, plum and stewed fruit over a vanilla background. Very spicy black pepper back palate. Fine grained soft tannins. Long aftertaste of plum, vanilla and black pepper. Cellar 2-3 years (2009-2010) Alc/Vol: 16%
