Sans The Clare Valley delivered another outstanding vintage in 2006. The season started well with mild and warm weather and even ripening, however, the February heat wave created an inbalance in the grapes, which was not corrected until 45 mm of rain fell at the end of March, resulting in flavour packed wines with considerable cellaring potential.
