Sans Knee Deep was established in2000 at Wilyabrup by Perth surgeon Phillip Childs. The name refers tongue-in-cheek to the fact that the vineyard was started during thetesting times of the grape glut.

Bright pale straw colour with water likehue. Grassy, herbaceous top note, followed by ripe tropical fruit, showingstrong varietal character. The palate has good weight, with flavoursof tropical fruit, ripe gooseberry and ripe passionfruit. Clean finish. Aftertaste of lemon, sherbet, tropicalfruit and gooseberry.
