Sans A relatively young release by Delord’s standards. The opening aromas conjure tobacco leaf, mild honey, vanilla and fruit cake. Aeration adds extra fruit presence plus a dry oloroso sherry character. Middle weight. Shows attractive sweet-dry balance with the spices and dried fruits set against fine tannins and oaky vanillas. Ends biscuity with dustings of cocoa and liquorice root in a nutty/woody finish. Rustic and affable. 40% Alc./Vol.
