Sans Matured in French oak the wine displays an opaque black crimson colour with deep dark crimson red hue. Aromas of Morello cherry, black plum and cedar with a hint of spice as an end note. Medium weight the palate seems a touch under nourished by central Victorian standards and lacks depth. Flavours of dark cherry, blackcurrant and spice. Dry slightly firmish tannins with moderate aftertaste of ripe dark blackcurrant and spice.Cellar 3-4 years (2014-2015).Alc 13.0%
