Sans Totally opaque black dark purple colour with very dark purple hue. The nose displays good lift with liquorice and ripe blackberry dominate followed by a toasty vanillin oak overlay and some spice end notes. Full bodied the palate delivers a succulent plushly textured flavour profile of liquorice, blackberry and dark plum overlaid with some spicy toasted oak. Soft velvet smooth tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of liquorice, blackberry, toast and spice.Drink over the next 2-3 years.Alc 14.5%
