Sans This Shiraz was matured for 14 months American oak hogsheads, of which 14% was new and the balance in 1 to 4 year old American oak. Opaque black dark crimson red colour with very deep dark crimson red black hue. Youthful aromas of freshly crushed blackberry, dark plum and liquorice followed by some distinct blackpepper end notes. Full bodied palate packed with opulent ripe generous fruit. Flavours of blackberry, liquorice and confectionary with a spicy blackpepper back palate. Very fine grained almost velvet like tannins with long aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice and blackpepper.Cellar 2-4 years (2012-2014).Alc 14.8%
