Sans Located in the Left Bank Bordeaux commune of Saint-Estèphe, Chateau Clauzet is a relatively unknown estate with some serious credentials. Its vineyard neighbours are Cos d’Estournel, and wine maker José Bueno worked for 23 years with Baron Philippe de Rothschild as master blender for Chateau Clerc Milon and Chateau d’Armailhac. Vineyard holdings are small for Bordeaux with production around 9,000 cases per year. A blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot, and 2% Cabernet Franc, this is a classic wine from the superb 2010 vintage.
