Sans Matured in new and seasoned French & American oak for 18 months. Totally opaque inky black colour with very deep black crimson hue. On the nose aromas of black plum, blackberry and liquorice followed by some dark chocolate and vanillin oak overtones. Big and rich the palate is filled with an abundance of dark chocolate and liquorice followed by some mocha and spice with an overlay of toasty vanillin oak. Velvet smooth tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of liquorice, dark chocolate, spice and toasty vanillin oak.Cellar 3-4 years.Alc 15%
