Sans Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Perfumed aromas of liquorice intermixed with some floral notes overlay roasted meats, black raspberry, scorched earth, smoky oak and spice. Rich and chewy but not heavy the palate is filled with flavours of black raspberries, liquorice and dried meats over some smoky oak, earth and spicy pepper. Quite meaty in its mouthfeel with firm, chewy but balanced tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of black raspberries, dried meats, liquorice, earth and spicy pepper.Cellar 6-8 years.Alc 13.5%
