Sans Matured for 9 months in older French oak hogsheads.Opaque black crimson red colour with deep dark crimson red hue. The nose displays youthful dark cherry and ripe mulberry top notes followed by some cedary tobacco like characters. Medium weight the palate delivers generous ripe dark mulberry flavours followed by some cedar and spice along with a touch of tobacco. Very fine grained tannins with aftertaste of mulberry, cedar and spicy tobacco like characters.Drink over the next 3-4 years (2011-2015).Alc 14.5%
