Sans Aged in a combination of new and 1-3 year old American and French oak. Opaque black purple colour with deep dark purple hue. Ripe blackberry and dark plum aromas are to the fore followed by some liquorice and confectionary notes. Full bodied the palate displays generous but youthful blackberry and plum flavours followed by some liquorice and spice. Very fine grained tannins with aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice and spice.Cellar 2-3 years (2014-2015).Alc 14.2%
