Sans Outstanding inky black crimson red colour with very deep dark crimson red purple hue showing excellent colour saturation. The nose displays good lift with aromas of liquorice and ripe blackberry to the fore followed by some dark chocolate, vanillin oak and confectionary. The palate possesses greater richness and is much more forward than recent vintages with generous flavours of ripe blackberry, liquorice, vanillin confectionary and spice. Sturdy but fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of ripe blackberry, liquorice, toasty vanillin oak and spice.Cellar 4-5 years.Alc 14.5%
